Echocardiography Quality Improvement

As of April 1, 2020, the EQI Program accreditation service is provided by the Institute for Quality Management in Healthcare (IQMH), now Accreditation Canada (AC) Diagnostics. If you have any questions, please contact AC Diagnostics at eqi@acdiagnostics.ca.

CorHealth Ontario will continue supporting quality improvement in echocardiography through the setting and maintenance of policies, standards, and clinical guidance related to the quality of echocardiography services.

ABOUT THE EQI PROGRAM

The AC Diagnostics EQI Program is a quality improvement accreditation initiative for all facilities providing echocardiography services in Ontario. Partnering with facilities to find improvement opportunities, the program provides an eight-step process to ensure that each facility participating in the program aligns with CorHealth Ontario’s Standards for the Provision of Echocardiography in Ontario.
